I voted biopsy diagnosed but I was also given a permeability test. I had very low cholesterol, severe vitamin deficiencies, megaloblastic anemia, weight loss, very low electrolytes, small stature, the corners of my mouth were cracked open and bleeding (that left scars) I spent 2 weeks in the hospital receiving treatment.

I have not been tested for Celiac (though I did ask for a test before I went GF... I was told that since I was not underweight I didn't fit enough criteria :( ).
I went GF after suffering from migraine headaches, constant nausea, constant fatigue, muscle & joint aches, and lots more. Within a few days, I started to feel better. Within a few weeks, I felt Fantastic! Now, with even a tiny cross-contamination, I'm in a LOT of pain.
I decided to put my ASD son on the diet as well. The child has had a major turn-around. Everyone has noticed a change in his behavior and speech. Now, though, when he gets glutened, he breaks out in a weird rash on his back. I will always wonder if the two of us have Celiac, but I'm not willing to go back on gluten for testing. Someday I hope to be able to afford the genetic testing.
